• Where can I buy OGX®?

  OGX® products can be found in most major retailers and online. Please visit our Where to Buy page to find a retailer near you.

• Do OGX® products contain sulfates?

  OGX® shampoos and conditioners are free from sulfated surfactants which is clearly marked on the front and back label.

• How much are your products?

  Prices vary by product as well as by store and country.

• Do OGX® shampoos and conditioners contain parabens?

  All current products that we make do not contain parabens.

• Are your products color safe?

  Most of our shampoos and conditioners are safe for color treated hair as they are crafted with sulfated free surfactants which is clearly labeled on our products. Our Moroccan Salt Spray is not color safe. Please remember that everyone’s hair is different, therefore results may vary.

• Are your shampoos and conditioners pH balanced?

  Yes, OGX® products are pH balanced.

  • OGX® Shampoos: between 4.0-6.5
  • OGX® Conditioners: between 3.5-6.0
  • OGX® Body Washes: between 6.0-7.0
  • OGX® Lotions: between 6.5-7.5

• Are OGX® products tested on animals?

  We do not conduct animal testing in the research or development of our cosmetic products. We believe that our cosmetic products can be validated as safe and effective without compromising animal welfare. • Are OGX® products gluten free?

  Some of our current lines contain or could potentially contain wheat and/or Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein (Gluten):

  While we strive to keep ingredient lists as accurate as possible, we cannot guarantee that these lists are complete, reliable, and up-to-date. Please refer to the ingredients list on the product packaging for the most accurate list of ingredients.

• Which OGX® collection should I use for my hair type?

  OGX® has a variety of products and collections to help you look your best! Feel free to browse our products by your hair type, hair benefit or even your mood to help you decide which OGX® product best suits your need or desired look. You can also mix and match our products for added hair benefits.

• Do you have any samples or coupons?

  Unfortunately, we do not have any coupons or samples at this time. Please check the Sunday sale papers. Frequently, stores like Walgreens and CVS run a sale or rebate on our items. You can also check our social pages for any special promotions!

• Is my information secure?

  You can be assured that personal information collected through this site is secure. Please read our Privacy Policy to learn more.

• How can I be sure your products are safe?

  The health and safety of the people who use our products is our top priority. We carefully select ingredients to ensure the safety and performance of our products and include a list of ingredients used on the product’s label.

  Our Safety & Care Commitment means that every product is carefully reviewed and evaluated against internationally recognized standards. It also includes a rigorous safety assurance process designed to meet or exceed industry and regulatory standards for personal care products.

• What’s up with OGX and DMDM?

  We’ve been working for years on achieving a more balanced pH in all our products to improve results for your hair. We haven’t launched any new products with DMDM Hydantoin in the last several years, so you may already be enjoying the benefits of these new formulas. But after listening to recent feedback from some of our consumers, we accelerated our plans to launch our new innovative formulations in our haircare products. This was successfully done in September 2021.

  We put all of our formulations through a rigorous safety assessment process to ensure that our products are safe and improve hair results for our consumers. And, our commitment to you is that we’ll never stop evolving our products to improve results for you and your hair!

• If there is no DMDM, why are you updating your formulas?

  We are always working to bring the most innovative formulas to market. Keeping the iconic bottles and scents that you know and love, we’ve enhanced our formulas to protect hair from future damage and prevent the loss of hair proteins and lipids— the key building blocks for strong, smooth and resilient hair— providing an unparalleled foundation for your hair routine.
